HIV-related stigma impacts on the life and health outcomes of people living with and affected by HIV. Given there has been no wide-spread public campaign to tackle HIV-related stigma since the dark tombstone advert of the 1980s, the Positive Stories Project was established with the purpose of empowering people living with and affected by HIV to tell the real stories of the virus, using their creative activism to end HIV-related stigma.
