Join us for the Kiltwalk in Edinburgh on Sunday 13th September!

Walk with the team and have a great day out whilst raising invaluable funds for HIV Scotland. 2019 was the biggest Kiltwalk yet in Edinburgh and the countdown is on for 2020! The Kiltwalk may sound gruelling, but with the choice of multiple distances, and the opportunity to go at exactly your own pace, it's the easiest way (and lowest cost platform) to ensure 150% of what you raise goes to your chosen charity. We'd be honoured to have you walk with, and for, HIV Scotland.

To encourage people to join us, we will pay the entry fees (£31.65) for the first 30 people to sign up. Also, every HIV Scotland Kiltwalker will receive:

  • An invitation to a pre-walk 2 course lunch reception at Kimpton’s Charlotte Square Hotel to meet your fellow walkers on Saturday 29th August
  • A HIV Scotland Kiltwalk Vest
  • A limited edition gold Zero Hero badge

And if that wasn’t enough, whoever raises the most money by the final Kiltwalk fundraising deadline (mid-November) will receive two free tickets to our Positive Change Gala Dinner & Auction on Saturday 28th November at Kimpton’s Charlotte Square Hotel worth over £150.

There are three distances you can walk – 5, 14.5 or 24 miles – and you can go at your own pace. Even better is that the Hunter Foundation will increase all the donations by 50% so if you raise £500, HIV Scotland will get £750! Last year, we raised nearly £4,000. Can we do even better in 2020?

NB: If you don’t live in Edinburgh, you can also walk in Glasgow (26 April), Aberdeen (7 June) or Dundee (16 August). Take a look here for more information and please contact us if you’re interested in taking part or sign up to walk on our behalf.
