During the COVID-19 pandemic, people living with HIV will likely experience digital healthcare. When we designed the National Patient Survey (NPS) questions, we imagined Digital Health playing a role in the future – but did not expect it to come so quickly. This briefing highlights how our health services can ensure that the needs of people living with HIV are met through digital health – and into the new normal that we are likely to witness as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic reduces.

We asked interview participants what their thoughts and opinions were about digital health. Specifically, we asked whether they had any concerns about it, any positive or negative experiences they've encountered when they've used it, the quality of service provided, and what would a successful digital health service look like.
