Primary Care Champions is an innovative project designed to build the capacity and skills of primary care nurses and GPs to undertake effective and efficient HIV testing which is free from stigma and discrimination, with the ultimate aim of reducing late diagnosis and minimising the risk of individuals with undiagnosed HIV. Stigma and discrimination are two of the main barriers to testing, and we want to make sure that people are allowed to access testing barrier-free.
