We are delighted to invite you to discuss solutions-based strategies aimed at improving the health and well-being of people living with HIV. This consultation will be informed by the results of our National Patient Survey.

The National Patient Survey (NPS)

Funded by ViiV Healthcare, The National Lottery Community Fund, and Gilead Sciences, the NPS is a national, peer-interview project aimed at considering the views and experiences of people living with HIV and their relationship to mental health services, ageing, access to general health services and HIV Care in Scotland. The project was co-designed and developed with people living with HIV. The overall goal of the NPS is to deliver pioneering and creative solutions and strategies to meet the health and service needs of people living with HIV.

The Consultation

Informed by the results of the peer-interviews, we want to bring together key partners across multiple sectors and communities in Scotland to discuss solutions and strategies to address the major themes and challenges identified from the project. The aim for the day is to:

  1. Present and discuss the evidence identified through the project.
  2. Distill and discuss major themes and challenges
  3. Brainstorm solutions and strategies to address the barriers and facilitators
  4. Discuss and agree on next steps to adapt, adopt, and implement solutions for a unified approach to Scotland's HIV response.

More details will follow, including an agenda.
