Join HIV Scotland, SX (Waverley Care) and Sexual Health experts in a live Q&A about the #LongTimeNoSyphilis campaign and the state of syphilis in the UK in 2020.

Throughout October, HIV Scotland and SX have been supporting the #LongTimeNoSyphilis campaign – the comeback you weren’t looking forward to.

Syphilis is on the rise again. The sexual health sector needs to work in unison with healthcare providers and use new and innovative routes to disseminate the facts and get people in Scotland tested. At a time when many services are operating at reduced capacity, how can we come together to stop syphilis in its tracks? Alongside expert opinion and guidance, this discussion will be driven by YOUR questions. Panellists will include:

Dr Will Nutland, co-founder of The Love Tank CIC

The Love Tank is a health and well-being non-profit. It is home to projects including PrEPster and Long Time No Syphilis. Will is also an Honorary Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Dr Kirsty Abu-Rajab, Clinical Lead, Sexual Health & HIV, NHS Forth Valley

Dr Ambreen Butt, Syphilis Lead for NHS Grampian

Alastair Rose, Manager, SX Scotland

Nathan Sparling (Chairing), Chief Executive of HIV Scotland
